Swallows and Amazons is a childhood classic in England, but I did not discover this tale of swashbuckling, sibling sailing adventure until after the newest film adaptation released in 2016. Four siblings spend their summer sailing and camping on an island in the Lake District where they meet the crew of a rival ship. It’s the perfect summer tale.
