Home at Grasmere
This collection begins with a recounting of William and Dorothy Wordsworth’s move to Grasmere in the Lake District of England. I was very impressed by the amount of walking they did! Dorothy’s daily scribblings about their life serve as the jumping off point for many of her brother William’s poems, some of which are included in this collection at the appropriate place in the timeline. Home at Grasmere* is a pleasure to read if you enjoy Wordsworth, are familiar with the Lake District, or would like to see a little insight into the Wordsworth’s friendship with Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
